Current Status
As of the last update of this page, IslandCat carries no advertising, no sponsored placements and no affiliate links. Recommendations in guides are editorial choices, and no business can pay to appear in them.
If This Changes
If commercial content is ever introduced, it will follow three rules: labeling on the page where it appears, no influence on editorial rankings or recommendations, and an updated version of this policy published before the first commercial link goes live.
Related Sites
IslandCat is operated by the same team as the Madeira guide at madeira.fun. Links between the two sites are editorial, not paid placements.
